We default to 12.5-gauge high-tensile woven wire with a Class 3 galvanized coating. Hog panels and field fence are also available depending on the animals you're keeping.
Line posts are driven 3–4 feet deep; corner and brace posts are set in concrete. This is what keeps the line tight for 20+ years.
Yes — we can add one or two strands of barbed wire above the woven wire if you need extra height for cattle or deterrence.
With proper bracing and galvanized wire, 25–30 years is typical. Wood posts may need replacement sooner in wet ground.
